Located in the Life Center Building at Our Lady of the Miraculous Medal Church, 12175 Stringfellow Rd, Bokeelia. Open Mondays and Thursdays from 8:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. except for USPS holidays. Food amounts are distributed by family size & ages. Clients may pick up an entire food order twice per month. An ID is required to indicate proof of residency in our service area. Karen Durand (513-265-7123) will deliver on mornings open, if client has no transportation and will be home, usually around 10:45-11 am. Call her if delivery is needed.
Located at 5320 Doug Taylor Circle, St. James City (back side of circle). Free Food Closet: Monday —Saturday 9:00 A.M—2:00 P.M. Karen Durand refers clients here as a stop gap if they call on days the Pantry is not open. A limited supply of food is available, but client must request it be opened at the Thrift Shop register.
Located at 5701 Pine Island Rd, Bokeelia (behind the church). Community Cooperative Mobile Pantry on the 3rd Friday of each month from 10 am – 12 pm. ID is required and bringing your own bags is encouraged. Karen Durand is the primary contact for these and usually on site. Delivery is not available.
Located at 5090 Doug Taylor Cir, St James City (front side of circle). Feed America Mobile Pantry in the parking lot each Saturday from 9:30 am – 11:00 am. Includes bread, sweets and sometimes produce and frozen meat from 5-6 area Publix stores. Beacon also has a smallEmergency Food Pantry in the office, available when they are open on Monday, Wednesday and Thursday from 9:00 am – 5:00 pm. If FISH is already driving a client to Beacon, encourage them to ask about food availability at the front desk.
